Fernandes tells Carrick he is committed to turning season around in clear-the-air talks
Michael Carrick and Bruno Fernandes had a frank discussion on Tuesday following the Manchester United captain's public criticism of the manager's strategies last week, and he is now anticipated to feature in the starting lineup against Chelsea on Saturday.
Carrick and Fernandes convened before Tuesday's training session at United's Carrington facility. The 32-year-old reportedly gave the manager his word that he remains completely dedicated and determined to reverse the team's fortunes this season. Additionally, a team meeting with Carrick took place where the other players made a similar pledge.
